I am deep diving into chalk; the soft, white, porous, sedimentary carbonate rock that my county is built upon. My hyper focus is strong on this one!
Eric Ravilious, Chalk Paths is pictured below;
and a poem from Patti Smith;
“Paths that cross
Will cross again.”

21st Century Stone Circle with a Men-an-Tôl vibe (fun fact, my Dad hoofed a football through the hole from quite a distance … twice in a row! He’s 81 but still got it!) #stonecircle #stoneclub

Watched Robert Altman’s 3 Women last night, Shelley Duvall is incredible in it. I just love these bold, simple yet complex female characters

Sunrise from the Trundle, chalky pathways circle this causewayed enclosure atop St. Roche’s Hill. Views of the Weald to the north and coastal plain to the south. Sunrise and sunset looks good from up here.

Druid Philip Carr Gomm in Unseen Zine 3 “ … traditionally we have seen religions and spirituality as a means of attaining personal salvation or enlightenment, what
Druidry and other earth-based religions do is they include everyone else.“ cont’d in comments …

The meanders at Cuckmere Haven. This part of Cuckmere River is actually an oxbow lake; it’s where the mouth of the river meets the sea. The Victorians artificially straightened the river in an attempt to reduce tidal flooding of the land.

Chalk ramparts at the Trundle, a Neolithic Causewayed enclosure and a high point in West Sussex. Sussex is built on porous chalk. Barrows and banks would shone bright white thousands of years ago.
