I’m petty.

I do not root for former Ducks who leave Oregon and play their college sport at another school.

I will never be a “once a Duck alway a Duck” fan.

Did I just boo Te-Hina Paopao when her face appeared on my TV? I sure did.

I appreciate that perspective.

I’ve tried several recipes and have never found one that is better than a boxed mix. Brownies are the only things I make consistently from a box. Everything else is almost always from scratch.

That’s what I’m saying! I love to bake. I make cakes from scratch. I make my own pie crust. I make sourdough breads. I have tried many, many different brownie recipes. They never come close to touching the deliciousness of a boxed brownie.

It’s taken me 3 years to get the volunteers who predate me to use the system I implemented with little to no issues now. Adding a new system is just going to cause issues.

I’m sitting in a training on a new volunteer “hub” being rolled out by the university I work for and I’m starting to get irrationally angry. Mostly because we’re being told we only have to use it to manage required forms, but they’re making us go through a month of trainings.
