followers i haven't followed back yet, there are more of you than i'm used to and i'm a bit overwhelmed (i'm easily overwhelmed). it's not personal and i generally do follow back if we interact, but if i don't do it right away, i tend to forget. i appreciate you all (except the musk impersonators).

the facial expressions on the heads of state behind him...

apparently straight human girls want ents, and ents want human girls. win-win i guess.

i'm not a big fan of being outdoors in the rain (i used to work outdoors a lot and spent too much time wet and cold in the rain), but as long as i don't have to go outside, rain is the best.

i particularly love that part of australia (the land, not the movie), and it's beautifully filmed, and yet, it was just too dang much of it.

all books should have maps in them, no exceptions.

this is just fact and not the slightest bit unhinged, though.

i mean, just look at the majestic cockburn range, of course you want that in the background when wrapping up the story. and having your characters travelling towards it feels so right. but that's the way *towards* darwin, and they're supposed to be going home *from* darwin at this point.
the pentecost river crossing, same spot as near the end of the movie australia. this is the way to darwinn. in the background we see the cockburn (pronounced co-burn) range, a sheer, undulating cliff with a rounded plateau at the top. in the foreground is the pentecost river, which has saltwater crocodiles. there are people right at the edge of the water on the other side of the river, they're taking a risk standing so close to the water (none of them were eaten that i saw). the way you cross this river is by driving through the water. this photo was taken from inside the car, because i didn't want to be eaten by a crocodile.

even worse, a couple of years ago baz luhrman added even more crap to it and made a 4-hour series out of it. and i have an almost endless capacity for movies/shows set in the outback, but that's too much even for me.

(also they cross the pentecost river the wrong way at the end and that bugs me.)

i passed the driving theory test! i'm not quite ready for the final driving test yet, but now i'm done with the part i had to study for and it went quite a bit better than expected (i had 90 minutes to get 38 of 45 questions right and i got all 45 of them right in 10 minutes)

selv om man allerede har angitt at dette skal være standardvalget, det er det som er det virkelig sære. jeg har jo allerede sagt fra at jeg vil at de skal gjøre det på denne måten hver gang, ikke bare denne ene gangen.

i came here to say the same thing.

ok men teoriprøven var jo veldig mye lettere enn strykprosent over 40 burde tilsi, da.

that's often too risky, sometimes the tag seam is a load-bearing seam and then you've got a hole in your garment.
