They’re sort of a generalist class. Pretty decent at most things and they get some decent early game skills as well. Why did we make the final class such a weird thing? Haha, I’m not sure we just wanted something a little different but the other dev has since gotten into birding so it’s fitting!

Working on a mechanic I didnt have time to add before #SteamNextFest Soon youll be able to equip shields which adds the guard option to a characters combat menu. Half way done with the guard character sprites.

Ya I’ve done all that stuff except maybe clearing the steam cache. I made some changed and our other developer tested it on their end and it works, for some reason the achievement won’t activate on my account though. I wonder if it’s because I tested it outside of Steam first or something

Actually just to make sure I know what you’re talking about do you mean setting the build to the default branch in steamworks or this setting in gamemaker? As far as I know that setting has to be set to steam when you build the file to upload to Steam right?

Hey #gamemakerstudio users, does anyone have experience setting up Steam achievements? I Cant seem to get them working. I set up the achievement in steamworks (on the normal and demo pages just in case), checked the box under features, and this is the code I’m using

Someone suggested adding a tutorial battle to Destiny Spire and I thought its a great idea so I started working on it tonight. I hope to be able to add it to the demo in time for the next fest. Didn’t get too far tonight but coming along #rpg #indiegames #pixelgames #retrogaming #jrpg

It’s a pretty slim window, about half a second, but in my initial testing I was still able to do it pretty consistently after I figured out the timing. It varies a bit from enemy to enemy since their bars fill at different speeds depending on their stats.
