Idk, it's kinda dumb but also cute and there's about to be a big interruption to the life they've had the past five years

Well Mama MacTav's chap is over 3k, but I've finally made it to the lads!

Roach is a wee bit anxious, and playing with the kids was a good distraction, but not without its consequences... mainly for his hair. (and just when he thought he'd tamed the perma-bedhead)

A snippet from ellipsus,

"Afraid there's been a casualty, Sergeant," says Ghost somberly, and it's not hard to guess what he's talking about considering where he's looking.

(Roach signs) 'How bad?'

"On a scale from decent to disaster…"

Roach groans, reaching up to tug at his hair - which is definitely not going to help him but what does it matter now anyway. Though why did it matter in the first place? It's not like the Alpha will actually take him, he wouldn't go even if she tried. What if they do try though–

Gentle fingers coax him into dropping his hands, then start to comb through the mess. It's soothing, grounding. His shoulders go lax.

Ghost hums, contemplative, "Which one was it that believed when I said you wash your hair with strawberries?"

With an amused huff, he mumbles, "Mary."

"Should've replaced your shampoo with something strawberry scented, could've convinced more of them."

who's just there too. he's older, just keeps an eye on everything, ready to step in if need be - stop a cat fight before it can start. Some of the kitties like him, some just avoid him.
