Learning to let myself enjoy fics that are still WIPs
I used to avoid them bc I'm uh Not Patient. (and bc I will 100% forget where the story was when it updates again lol)
But if it weren't for people who read wips, I'd never get feedback on /my/ works and thus wouldn't be as motivated to finish. +

For the amount of fics where Gaz and Soap share a room, I'm surprised there's NOTHING about what it would be like for Gaz to return to existing in a space where there's proof Soap still had stuff to do. Not out of duty but because Soap expected to have time to do those things.

Your eyes are starting to get more colour. They were that grey-blue that many are born with, but the grey seems to be fading out.
I was worried for a little while that you might inherit eyes like mine - looked it up once, heterochromia can be genetic. Thought maybe even if they weren't entirely different, you could still end up with having a segment of different colour. Not that there's anything wrong with it, but I've always hated the extra attention.
Think it's safe to say that won't be the case. Seems you're likely to have blue eyes like his ['like his' is crossed out]

You've been babbling for a while now. It's all nonsense baby gibberish. Awful cute though. Nik and Price will sit there giving you undivided attention while you ramble about whatever it is you think you're saying. Look like a group of gossiping old ladies, the lot of you.
But I think you might actually be catching words now. Earlier I came in from the garden, you were in conversation with Price but stopped when you saw me. And when he asked "Who's that then?" (And I've never understood the point of asking children obvious questions but I think I get it now), with the biggest grin you yelled "Pa!" and then proceeded to cackle like a little demon. I've been hearing it all day since. It's a tad annoying but at the same time ridiculously endearing, so I don't really mind.
I think we all better start watching what we say around you, or the next thing we know you'll be crawling around shouting expletives.
