Ok, I'm spoiling one of my favorite bits of lore here, but...the scar over his eye? Upon careful examinatin, it's obvious that no blade left it.
He got it from rescuing a coeurl kitten that was stuck in a tree. The kitten did not appreciate his efforts and, well, kittens are sharp.

I think it's pretty obvious what cards he would reward: Donut (5*), Mehwapyarra (3*), and Capybarra pup (1*). He'd have vanilla rules and not be especially difficult to beat on account of the fact he wants to give away capybaras.
