Fellow knitters and crafters - I understand the importance of swatching especially when intending to make a blanket - can I ask when swatching if yarn that has been previously frogged, does that significantly influence gauge / sizing for working out gauge?

A whole of heap of softly coloured naturally dyed yarns - cherry crochet ghosts with mother of pearl eyes & tiny flower crowns on copper wire, very simple knitted colour work socks in progress using buddleja dyed wool, perched on an open illustrated book page of a ghost napping in a sock drawer, with more hand made sweet spirits in a tray to the side, yarn scattered all about. A more pulled back picture of the first as so as to see more bits! A montage of the first pictures & the front cover of the illustrated book - how to make friends with a ghost by Rebecca Green - as it was a huge point of inspiration for this project!

I made another pumpkin, to tidy the bottom of it up a bit I put a little wooden button on it. My juvenile mind makes me feel like it's a little pumpkin bum and this brings me a ridiculous amount of joy - I do not apologise for this!

I have a small bedroom, being a wheelchair user I find it quite hard using a "traditional" wardrobe so I bought a double ottoman bed with the gas pistol things to help you lift it up with a mattress on it - storage and space saving. I had to move it this evening and I have learned 2 things about it

Positive things a dog brings to knitting:
Doggie snores, extra fibre to knit into your pieces, the occasional snuggle

Negative things a dog brings to knitting: doggie fart that you are sure would melt your needles if they weren't metal!
