A real highlight yesterday at #CheltLitFest was meeting the legendary photographer Martin Parr, whose work inspired several images in #ThePerimeterBook, from Gourock Pool to Felixstowe Beach. His book pairs 150 photos from his life with trademark humour & insight (Title is from his school report!).

WWII anti-tank blocks on Bwlch Oerddrws Pass, with Rhinog Fawr in the distance. Built from local dressed stone on both sides of the A470, they formed part of the Western Command Stop Line No. 21, which ran from Rhyl to Machynlleth. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿#442Mountains
