I read _Wicked_ (well, most of it) years ago, hearing the name Elphaba in my head as "el-Fă’-bə" – not "EL’-fə-bə". So when I hear the world pronouncing it they was they are in the film (and I assume how it was on stage), my brain wants my mouth to yell "STOP THAT!"

I read _Wicked_ (well, most of it) years ago, hearing the name Elphaba in my head as "el-Fă’-bə" – not "EL’-fə-bə". So when I hear the world pronouncing it they was they are in the film (and I assume how it was on stage), my brain wants my mouth to yell "STOP THAT!"
