I need a bumper sticker that says "I feel sorry for people who don't knit. They lead empty lives.

There are a ton of socks with the same name! This one is by Emily Bolduan. I *think* it's a 6 stitch pattern repeat- it isn't charted and I'm shit at written directions! 🤣 planning to ditch one pattern repeat from the top & 6 stitches from the bottom to size down so I can use my 2.75 mms. 🤞🤞🤞

I don't know what I expected... I *knew* that with this yarn & these needles I need 64 stitches for my feet. The pattern clearly called for 78 stitches. OF COURSE the socks are too big. Why am I surprised by this?! 🤣 I will 🐸 and proceed with fewer stitches fomorrow. (No smaller needles w/ me, alas)

In a moment of weakness, I impulse-acquired some Stroll Tonal in Poppy Fields, so I have cast on for some #Socktober fun! These are going to be Honeycomb Socks by Emily Bolduan. (Free pattern!) 🍯 🐝 🧶

Suggestion: move your yarn elsewhere. Just leave one skein in that drawer. 😉

It is good to see how inclusive the costumed frog community is there in Portland and how readily they accept costumed unicorns and costumed giraffes and all other human beings in animal costumes as part of the dance party without any problems. Peace breaks out sometimes.

My only project for #wipwednesday is this 10 stitch blanket. I am nearly out of yarn but dug through boxes til I found my frog pond and now I've got a (terrible) Tunisian crochet blanket I made about 15 years ago to cannibalize! 😃 I am so sick of moving & also reality. Bring on the yarn. 🧶
