By sending ICE and CBP to wreak havoc on our communities, Donald Trump is eroding that trust — and he’s putting Americans in danger.

We’ve done that here in Pennsylvania by building trust between law enforcement and the communities they serve.

Violent crime is down by 12%, and fatal gun violence is down by 42%. Philly and Pittsburgh both saw the lowest number of homicides they’ve seen in decades.

This is how you keep people safe.

While the Trump Administration stokes violence, creates chaos, and makes everyone less safe, we’ve taken a different approach to public safety here in Pennsylvania — one that’s reducing violence on our streets and building trust with law enforcement.

On Friday, I met with ethnic and community media because every family deserves to hear this loud and clear: 3-K and Pre-K enrollment is open, and it belongs to you.

This day calls on us to do more than reflect; it calls on us to act — to confront antisemitism wherever it exists and to reject all forms of hatred and dehumanization. May the memories of all those lost be a blessing — one that guides us as we build a world where every life is sacred.
