Better believe it. Listen to 40m enough and you don’t need them to finish their call to know who’s CQ it is. I could hear my dad thinking as he sent code at one point, the subtle pauses as we try to form sentences in our heads and send them is equally interesting on the receive side.

Working with the local ARES team in a rebuild moment. Many counties around ours saw programs languish. Last night was Alt-NCS for live drill on process & multi frequency usage with VHF net. We have a long way to go but it’s happening. State wide HF NBEMS are getting good uptake as well.
