Respecting Your Limits
Sometimes even small things take a moment to complete. At first glance, because it’s small, the size can be deceptive and full you into thinking, “Oh, this will be easy and I’ll finish it quick.” Ha! In the world of creation even the small and rather simple might throw you for a loop. I have to admit, I like working small and making small things.

Made this mini comfort bird. I kept seeing these in carving tutorials, so I decided to carve out a little one for myself. It’s about an inch and a half in length and fits perfectly in the palm of my hand. It’s rather soothing to the touch. ☺️ #woodcarving #crafts #handmade

I have a thing for trees, yet I find them intimidating to draw. Whenever I’m on a road trip, I find myself staring out the window, looking at the trees dotting the landscape, wondering “How can I draw that?”, then I try to sketch it in my mind. I want to incorporate more trees into my work. #nature
