We have ALWAYS been a melting pot. These are historical photos of immigrants in the early 1900s. We allowed Romanians, Italians, Irish, Scottish, British, Slovakian, Norwegian, etc. to COME IN BY THE BOAT LOAD and there was nothing wrong with that. There still isn't.
