28 Years Later

I definitely recommend all three. Different story telling methods, amazing casts & writers.

And we supposedly will be blessed with two more movies in the 28 series. I am looking forward to it!

He does that kitty thing where he squeezes himself, crossing the paws over his snoot, and curls his toes, all while dozing. It's like a reverse stretch to comfort himself and block out the light before relaxing back into a snooze.

I managed to get 20ct Aida and 32ct linen of the fabric this time and the black moth minders. At least it didn't sell out in two minutes like the one for the Spring event. That was... severely understocked. Steph seems to take feedback to heart and ordered a buuuuuunch this time around.

After months of use, and design iterations by multiple designers, I'm developing a strong dislike of Figma.

It's not the designers fault.
It's not the project scope.
It's not even scope creep.

It's the tool itself.

27 days and it will be 1 year since Lucy crossed the rainbow bridge.

It's almost impossible to not traumatize myself with Facebook and Google Images sending me reminders constantly: look at this from 1 year ago! Check out this montage of selfies! etc.

I remember Lucy being absolutely terrified this time of year and it prevented us from going out to enjoy any festivities. 😕

Purrcival didn't give two bits about the fireworks last night. Such a good boy!

Now, if only we could break his habit of caterwauling at 4am. 🤔

Latest finish! The first 12 weeks of the 52 week yearly Blackwork SAL from PeppermintPurple!

Fabric is 14ct Aida by BlackDahlia Fabrics on Etsy, I don't recall the color way, but it is a pale green with some dark blue/grey and orange melted in.

Lucy's last summer with us we had some Galaxy/Nebula Petunias that she enjoy smacking in a pot on the back patio. It produced so many blooms and thus a bazillion seeds I was able to sprout and grow this spring.

Here is the first flower produced. The plant seems to love all this hot weather lately.
