Sex scenes are almost never "gratuitous" or "unnecessary." You learn things about characters and relationships during sex that you can't really learn any other way, such as whether they're into fisting.

VP artist, art artist, or fic writer who is a hundred times more experienced and skilled in their art form than you to adopt your OC and all your plans and ideas for them, and they'd not get it 100% right.

Nobody gets an OC as well as their creator. Even when we sometimes struggle to show them off

We had people create art and fic based on our AU and characters and it was wonderful and we loved people for doing it. But there wasn't one work that even one of us agreed hit our ideas and plans so well that we'd say, "Yep, this is canon

Fun fact, tho: Fortunately, I took the "all lights off" pic last bc if you squint at the shadows behind the yellow lantern, you see that for some reason toggling all lights and markers off flipped it.

Had that happen mid-pic, I'd probably have bitten another chunk of wood out of my desk 😆

D'ylân absolutely does. It's a different activity for him than sex; one can't replace the other. It's relaxing, fun, and reduces the risk of telling outlines.

He does it when he feels like it and time and place align.

During camp, he does it, presumably privately, during bath time.

Outside, by a river, at night.

Dylan sits in shallow water, legs open, but has the goods covered with his hat. He grins cheekily at the camera. His clothes and violin are lying behind him in the grass.
