Socks are a lot less daunting a task. And then I think I’ll get my pink yarn and put a bow on his tail, then add string to the wings to tie bows on his wrists so he can hold up the wings. Still haven’t looked for those undies I made in roughly his size but I’ll figure it out

I am very curious, Batty, as to whether Achilles values his ear notch more or canon accurate costuming!! So I know whether to add a notch in the ear cover!

Also I’m hoping to find some clear files at school tomorrow to turn that cardboard into sunglasses for him haha

They weren’t made with a tail hole but I cut corners on them so I think I could find one in the stitching. He’d probably enjoy some stockings with garters too, right? I mean I gotta manage my expectations I have college but I love him so consider that before assuming I can resist

Alternatively to the safety pin ear method: potential ear holes so he can wear the bat ones like ear socks. Either way, little man will not be hearing properly. My condolences, sir.

I can make him glasses outta cardboard omg wait I wanna do that like right now actually. Depending on how much I despise working with cardboard I could potentially do the bow that way too. I don’t think I can give him fangs though. I could maybe use some sewing pins with a bit of paper or felt tho?

I can cut an ear notch into the bat ears, make up for any hood stolen by his big as fuck ears with some crochet hemming, and then I have to crochet him a big pink bow anyway since he’s meant to be my Count Fabulous. It would sorta combine G1 & G3 since he’s a cat & the new Draculaura has a cat, too.

If . If I cut the face off the bat, pin his ears down, cut the bottom off and some arm holes, I could cinch the bat body with some Velcro strips and make a bat dress with a hoodie… And then find some safety pins and pin Achilles’ ears to his head so the hood fits at least most of the way.

I bought a plush bat to be Count Fabulous for my Draculaura costume and it got here but I was thinking about costumes for Achilles earlier today and they’re very similar in size and I’m having evil thoughts now

The skin can be iffy so while I love to enjoy the teensy red ones boiled in some kind of garlic and butter solution they have to be a sometimes

I am a decent part Irish so I could live off of those for a long long time but I do think they’re better with butter or cheese or even just a bit of salt. Also they take longer than I’d like to cook them so I can’t actually make them for myself every meal because of the illnesses.
