Once more time: the Orange Crew abandoning Taiwan was already foreseeable at least in Jul'24 and probably earlier.
Reading Elbridge Coldby stuff and the excellent thread by porteaux* it was quite obvious. While in retrospective I was too rational back then.

crackdowns on independent contractors is out of control. i don’t want to be an employee and can buy my own “benefits” and don’t need any government busybody “protecting” me by forcing me to accept a boss. NY in particular is backwards on this.
