The US server is back up and running. If you try to use older versions of PsyToolkit, they might not yet work fully, but the current version 3.6.5 and the recent 3.6.4 work perfectly fine.

The server is now in final checks. It is still not online, but we are testing it and it looks good so far. We are just doing some final checks and should be up and running in the course of the day.

My human is making good progress with the server update. #dogs

The server upgrade will last longer than originally planned due to data transfer slower than thought between old and new server. But we are making good progress and it will be up again tomorrow (Sunday).

US server maintenance has now started
Check here to learn when the server is up again.
This will be as soon as possible.
The new server is more powerful and faster.
We are just transferring data and changing over IPs.
You will note that the US website is temporarily not available.

We are now almost ready to switch the USA server. This can take between 5 minutes and an hour.

The EU server is completely unaffected.
January 31, 2026 at 8:21 PM
Over the coming weekend (31 Jan and 1 Feb), the US server will off very short due to a change to a new and more powerful server.

Some colleagues had a discussion about whether the term "abnormal psychology" should be used or not. But if we want to remove stigma, then terms such as "clinical psychology" or "psychological disorders" can be seen as stigmatising as well. What do you think is the right approach? #psychology

Are consent forms for psychological studies often too long?

Reply with: YES or NO

In PsyToolkit surveys, you automatically get a welcome screen that allows you to split of the "core" stuff from the often highly common sense redundant "small print" (eg "you can stop this study anytime you want")
