"Victories remind elites Trump is not some sort of eternal expression of the American volk. The press will have to at least briefly acknowledge MAGA fascism is not inevitable. Institutions that have been acting as if Trump is a rightful king will be confronted with a sweeping rejection of him."
Virginia and New Jersey can show that Trump isn't inevitable
MAGA might be in for an ass-whuppin' on Tuesday.

Someone appears to have a very high opinion of themselves that is not at all justifiable

Just a lot of condescension and elitist snark
Sure wish he'd stop breathing already

Uh, being compared to Marjorie Taylor Greene of all people on CNN? Not on my bingo card.

Real talk tho: Keeping our tax dollars here to feed kids, build schools, and provide healthcare instead of sending it abroad to subsidize genocide…should be standard DEMOCRATIC platform.

Women across the US are facing criminal charges for miscarrying—this is what "fetal personhood" looks like.
This is a natural progression of the complete disregard and contempt for convention and decorum – and now, the "laws are suggestions" behavior – endorsed and exhibited by the lawless fascists that comprise the GOP

Turns out that the rule of law was entirely built on the honor system, who knew?
Real "Hello, fellow radical!" energy

The only reason anyone falls for this poorly-acted charade is that the target audience is "people who watch Fox News"
@washingtonpost.com

What are we even doing here? This kind of laughably repulsive apologetics & pathetic, desperate word-parsing for an event worthy of nothing but ridicule is how this stupid shit gets normalized

Kathleen Parker & the entirety of The Washington Post should be embarrassed & ashamed
Opinion | What Hegseth got right about the military
Put aside the defense secretary’s bravado and focus on his message about muscular armed services.

Then one can't really consider Bluesky to be a functional platform on a fundamental level if it is unable to meet one of the most basic criteria

I'm not sure why equal enforcement of TOS is difficult, especially when your users are literally pointing you in the direction of flagrant offenses
My understanding is that this entire embarrassing dispute is about equitable enforcement of terms of service rules; that doesn't really seem *that* difficult to do

Isn't this one of the most very basic aspects of managing a functioning social media platform?

He's committed acts that would be considered impeachable offenses and borderline treason and/or sedition had anyone else done them under any other regime.

Impeachment is the BARE MINIMUM of what he should face
Rachel Bade has always been partisan in her "reporting"

The fact that she's spouting explicitly right-wing talking points now is pretty unsurprising; all of this from one of the reporters primarily responsible for the "Benghazi" and "but her emails" media hysteria fully tracks
It should be mentioned that the Third Reich expropriated much of the private sector — especially manufacturing and resource extraction — in the run-up to WWII
The revolting, surreal spectacle this morning ALONE was grounds for impeachment and removal from office
Every day is a stark reminder that the way the world works is waaaay dumber than we were ever led to believe

I am officially convinced that we live in a hyperreal reality TV simulacrum of Reality Classic™️
So... just a COINTELPRO redux? Fascists truly ARE incapable of creating anything resembling a new idea, aren't they?
The way people speak with one another about "their ChatGPTs" and the way they own them, "train" them, and "speak" with them has led me to conclude that LLM chatbots are, in fact, adult Tamagotchis

You know, if Tamagatchis fed you misinformation and drove you insane
Yarvin has never been much of an actual "intellectual" so much as he has a kind of accessibility that makes his ideas — devoid of merit — understandable & appealing to dull, aggrieved bigots

He's mostly an amalgamation of Evola, a poor reading of Nietzsche, and if Carlyle didn't know how to write
I remember when the right believed that Pokémon was a tool of Satan and a form of witchcraft; time makes fools of us all, but especially these fucking shameless ghouls
Funny how they never seem to acknowledge exactly WHY "farmers are facing difficult times."
Then what was the purpose of her comment?
