The SAS "Ascension" window in Hereford Cathedral is a 10-meter-high, 1-million-pound stained-glass installation dedicated in 2017 to honour the Special Air Service. Designed by artist John Maine
it features 3,000 pieces of glass in 40 colours, creating a "journey from darkness to light".
