With commentary ended, the meeting is adjourned at 7:18pm.
Another member hopes that someone from Detroit government will attend one of the meetings. It's an important part of the Detroit area.
CORRECTION: the 'fifth commenter' was actually a comment from a panel member.
There are no online commenters. Fifth in-person commenter asks about traffic lines again. How will emergency vehicles get to Belle Isle when the bridge is backed up? There have been discussions about that with the city of Detroit.
Third commenter (who is also the first commenter), audio quality has dropped and I can't understand his comment. Fourth commenter, same problem.
Second commenter talks about the backup on the bridge and maybe it could be relieved by marking the lanes for pass owners and pass buyers. New signage is coming.
In response, there is mention of the scooter project and how they will interact with the trails.
First commenter has an issue with state of the gravel on the trails and with the geese.
Public Comments. In person first.
Conclusion: Knowing how to say safe around water should be a minimum requirement. However, learning how to swim should be an objective of every parent.
