Turns out if you say trust the process enough, and use an airbrush to spray a midtone between two colors you think are too different, it just works! Now all I need is a 000 brush for the cracks and edge highlights! One day for sure I'll do nmm. As for the bases... How does one do ice without resin?

So I'm supposed to be mimicking the black ice from rainbow 6 siege. Maybe a "core" of kantor blue moving upwards up the dword would work better than three distinct areas of three colors. #nerdlings

Exactly! In 9th for an agrapinaa and Stygies boy like me, there wasn't even a point in getting a centerpiece because they were blocked off by needing to play mars in order to get him. It's just another reason why I've jumped to heresy at this point, lots of room to make "your guys"

An archmagos on abeyant I'm working on, the kataphron torsion cannon is going to count as whatever gun I want, and probably a melee weapon too. Idk how I'm going to mount a melee arm onto this...

Making my castellax step through some sludge, I used some still water that I bought before I learned that company was evil, once it dries I'm going to put a green glaze over it to help sell the effect.

Finally done with this grim skull tech priest, I gave her a gun that became legacies, including a melta gun on a machinator array that no longer includes free guns... And finally attached a pistol that no longer exists! (Photon gauntlet). I guess it'll be disintegrators but I had fun!

Finally am calling the painting phase of this explorator done, I'm going to do touchups and accent tomorrow while the jb weld glued it togetherworking with such a hefty resin kit is fascinating, it's probably going to need several coats of varnish to protect the paint

Practicing masking for airbrushing, and making a cheeky little explorator for some myrmadons to hop out of. The idea of an AV14 all the way around vehicle to come be a menace to line infantry with rad weapons is good to me
