Tamale season is finally upon us. Easily the best food sold in the Tractor Supply parking lot.

I don’t get this play call or the execution. Two maybe three linemen illegally downfield. Saquon, AJ and Devonta kinda blocking but really just watching.

I almost think this was supposed to be a RPO QB run or a quick hitter to Goeddert.

45% of the last 11 plays have been a turnover.

Who says there’s nothing to do in Tucson? This should be fun.

Getting a little tinplate restoration done. Bought this 652 gondola for parts but decided to put some leftover paint to use. Plus my workspace needs to be overwhelmed with chemical smells for a week.

Appears my day of watching the #Eagles football will be turning into a day of testing Christmas lights.

As someone who loves watching NFL games for the refs, this is a really good time for me watching Eagles-Cowboys.

It’s that time of the year again for the great coming together of the generations in retail locations across the country. Teenage retail employees are trying their best to explain the newest technology to retirees.

Not sure who is the most qualified person to become the next Penn State coach. Make no mistake, there is no one who cares more deeply about Penn State University and the football program than Terry Smith. #psu

The most expensive “dog toy” I ever bought. For some reason the postwar Alco horn sets her off lol.

New PRSL acquisition. Woodside reefer from RMT. Thrilled with the paint and graphics. Wasn’t sure if I’d purchase another RMT after some of their past issues. To RMT’s credit, the couplers, wheels and trucks are much better.

I like how NFL RedZone cut off the President to switch to a random play in a 38-15 game.

Pretty mild train show haul today. I did pickup some Lionel and Pennsylvania Railroad wall art. Mid-century art deco and American Realism is one of my favorite eras.

An underrated aspect of rural living is the barter system. Scrap wood being the major monetary system of choice. A pickup full of old 2x4s is worth at least one hot water heater install.

Just picked up a pair of postwar 2032 Alcos. A little solder and a lightbulb is all it needed. Nothing beats the roar of postwar magnetraction rounding the curves.

Found my dog loves train repair manuals as much as I do. The postwar Alco section must have been delicious.

22years old and obliterating World Series records. What an incredible performance.
10+ strikeouts in first 5 innings of a World Series game:

Tonight Trey Yesavage
1963 G1 Sandy Koufax

28 strikeouts (so far) has to be a record.

Onto to the 17th inning….

My other hobby is collecting Hess Trucks. A little different in 2025, Hess is offering race cars. The little green car fits in the hood of the white car. Flashing lights and sounds are a bonus.

Photos from chasing a Wisconsin and Southern grain train 10 years ago OTD along the scenic Prairie du Chien Subdivision. One of my favorite chases ever with both locomotives in special paint schemes, beautiful fall colors and late afternoon golden light!
