In 2 years, Orioles prospect Trey Gibson has gone from Undrafted to Unhittable. I got a chance to ask the newly minted top 100 prospect a few questions before his home Debut in Norfolk. Those questions and more analysis on Trey are available to read now at prospectsavant.com/article/8
One name I'm watching at AFL is Nationals starter Jake Bennett. The 6'6" lefty has shown off some serious swing and miss stuff over 2 starts, striking out 13 in 8 innings and generating 11 whiffs of 27 swings.

Out now on Prospect Savant: Arizona Fall League data! Main thing I wanted to do here was aggregate bat speed data, but I'll be adding more to this section over time.
If there’s any type of prospect profile I trust to debut in the playoffs, it’s one with a hit tool and solid plate approach like this. DeLauter has all the right tools to hit the ground running.

We could end up seeing Chase DeLauter debut in the playoffs 👀👀👀

Ryan Ward is named PCL MVP… but will be going into next year as a free agent unless LA adds him to the 40 👀

Serious major league tools - he’s maintained a .389 OBP through his first 33 games. If Beavers can up his hard hit rate to closer to what he was showing in AAA, I think he could easily be a 3/4 win player
And here are the final Triple-A pitcher PS Score leaders for 2025 (min 1000 pitches)
With the conclusion of the Triple-A season, here are the final IL/PCL hitter PS Score leaders for 2025 (min 100 PA)!
Reds catching prospect Alfredo Duno has been at the top of the FSL PS Score leaderboard all year - he has now been named Florida State League MVP!

in MLB dot com write ups of Roberto Clemente Award nominees, Liam Hendriks' work with LGBTQ+ organizations was referenced in 2022, 2023, and 2024. there is no mention of it in this year's write up. www.mlb.com/news/roberto... (previous years can be found changing "2025" in the url slug)
Red Sox: Liam Hendriks
A six-time Roberto Clemente Award nominee, Hendriks has continued making significant off-the-field contributions in his first season with Boston. After beating Stage 4 non-Hodgkin's lymphoma in 2023, he has remained dedicated to meeting with cancer patients during homestands and while traveling with the team. He has worked with the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute Young Adult Program to provide VIP experiences at Fenway Park for cancer patients and survivors. He is a staunch ally of the LGBTQ+ community, has appeared in an ad campaign for Stand Up To Cancer, supports the Lymphoma Research Foundation and is passionate about animal rescue. White Sox: Liam Hendriks
What more is there to say about Hendriks? Whether it’s the work he’s done hosting events for hospitalized children and health care workers to the time spent organizing the White Sox’ Pride Night as a vocal supporter of the LGBTQ+ community or the outreach he did while recovering from Stage 4 lymphoma, Hendriks has made outreach part of his identity as a ballplayer. Hendriks, who was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma in January, underwent chemotherapy in the offseason and made his 2023 debut on May 29. Red Sox: Liam Hendriks

Red Sox: Liam Hendriks
Now a seven-time Roberto Clemente Award nominee, Hendriks is on pace to donate more than $750,000, his annual custom, to charitable causes that focus on two deeply personal areas: cancer research and treatment and support for veterans and their families. After beating Stage 4 non-Hodgkin's lymphoma in 2023, Hendriks shares his story with patients and survivors in private support groups and high-profile awareness campaigns. He meets with military members, volunteers at Red Sox community events and can often be found getting to know and building genuine connections with families on the warning track before games at Fenway Park.

Liam Hendriks has been nominated for 7 Clemente awards. Here are OFFICIAL MLB press releases from 2022, 2023, 2024, and finally 2025. Any mention of Hendriks’ allyship with the LGBTQ+ community has been erased this year and replaced with military mentions. Pretty clear messaging from MLB here!

Gervase has already gone from the Mets, to the Rays, and now to the Dodgers in his young professional career.
His 4 seamer is already 3rd in the majors in perceived velocity minus actual velocity.
Gervase has made minced meat of hitters in AAA so far this year.

Dodgers relief prospect Paul Gervase’s path to the majors has been wild. The former D3 walkon has had to grind nonstop and now he’s fighting for a playoff roster spot. Read more about Gervase and his MiLB leading 7.5 feet of extension in our newest article

- Slider as a sweeper
- Cutter as a slider
- Death ball as a cutter
