It was actually quite funny and refreshing to have FT crew! I hope your colleagues will join in too
There is one in my DGH, its is unfortunately out of order as it is awaiting for replacement fuses for the the rear cyclotron.
Radiation safety for anaesthetists - we need to know to be able to protect ourselves at work. Free access @bjaeducation.bsky.social
Read this new #BJAEd article by Lalabekyan & colleagues for an excellent overview of the principles of radiation safety for anaesthetists:

Intubation Rollapalooza
Cycle 20 miles on rollers → intubate a mannequin → brew a decent coffee.
It is possible to use a Retrival
Augmented Generation where LLM is using uploaded documents, guidelines etc for the analysis. It is also possible to fine tune LLM if accessing through API e.g. control randomness, access different models, discourage or dis/encourage repetition etc
I really like it! So immersive, drags observer in!
AI / LLMs are tools. Know (roughly) how they work, and use them for their strengths. Avoid their weaknesses (like eating soup with a fork). Good for somethings (coding), less so for other tasks (generating diagrams). Most importantly, always maintain human oversight and be wary of limitations.
And Mattel giving Barbie a chatGPT brains…

I’ve only ever seen something like this in textbooks! Can you guess what was given between these two consequential TEG traces in the context of liver transplantation?😉
So, from near zero experience in coding to full stack development and deployment of an anaesthetic project in 3 days!!!! LLM are something!!!! #ansky #llm

#Cosmos482 Here what’s really happened…
Aside from the very exciting physics of radiation, we also attempted to cover critical aspects of occupational exposure for anaesthetists.
Somewhere far away from theatres…
I’m excited that this may help us to recycle our anaesthetic plastic waste more efficiently

This seems like a good time to announce that for the past three years I've been seconded to the Department of Teeth to lead a £5 million transformation project to digitise Form TF-230, allowing you to claim reimbursement for swallowed teeth online
