i don't mean to single out baseball fans here, because you see this in lots of fan communities, but in certain corners people talk as though baseball is real. they think all the players are real people and the stadiums are places you can actually visit. to each their own, but that cannot be healthy

out of all things about my autism and adhd that make me act unwieldly this is the one that makes me the saddest, because it will always be prevalent due to my love of art and it just seems uncontrollable to me. i do hope to find some compromise for it eventually though

like in my head the idea of criticism of things i like is entirely fine and the people who get mad at critics purely for disagreeing with them are laughable to me but. some portion of my brain seems to geniunely take it as an attack on ME and it makes me geniunely furious.

vent thread: i generally like most portions of myself, but if there is something i do hate is how pretty much any harsh criticism of something i like fills me enough rage for me to have to find a way to lock myself entirely from whatever place said criticism was said for a few minutes until i relax
