The Phantom of the Black Rose Revue is a romance/horror/drama game inspired by The Phantom of the Opera and Rose of Versailles 🌹

Chihiro is in the Revue's backstage, in front of mirrors, dressings, drama costumes (including the outfit of Sailor Moon) and a wig of Sailor Moon's hairstyle. The player, as Chihiro, has three choices: look in the mirror, check her station, check the drawer.

Two characters are in a corridor, backstage: a tall man with dark short hair and technical tools, and a woman with long black hair and bangs, named Tomiko. She looks angry and very upset, and is saying: "What did you say?"

I once worked on a visual novel game where all the surveys and focus groups said that nobody wanted romance, they only wanted mystery and sci-fi.

Then 75+% of clicks in-game went to stories with explicit romantic or sexy themes.
