got a jumpstart on comics and finalized the draft for the next TAORA chapter. (technically TEMP should be next but january is TAORA's 8th birthday so i'm switching them around.) i'm also thinking about doing a little doodle project just to build up some hype .. idk. look out for a post tmrrw.

december is coming up, meaning i'm supposed to officially be working on comic updates again. i feel kind of sick to my stomach about it. it's been a really difficult couple of years and the trials do feel a bit .. unending at times. i have decided to take things a step at a time with comics for now.

why is it so difficult for people to tag their noncon? just tag it. it's six letters. i don't give a fuck about what you have to say about censorship or sexual abuse survivors or what the fuck ever the next argument is until you learn what boundaries and empathy are.

i'm gearing up to start making these again as i like to make them to go along with the story. i'm not sure if i'll ever get them printed as they're so much more expensive to get done than the comics.

concepts for a comic i want to do about having to live/exist in a liminal space
a sketchbook page. the top half depicts three comic panels of my mothsona. in the first panel we see them in silhouette through a window. in the next panel we see them in profile, closeup, drawing on a tablet monitor. caption boxes read, "it's funny. i used to fear being all alone, more than anything in the world." the third panel pulls back to reveal they're in a house that's floating above a large body of water. captions read, "but out here, no one cares what i am." the bottom half of the page is filled with sketches of my sona wandering around a city, and then a sketch of them shirtless looking sad, and a sketch of them pulling a blanket up to their shoulders. there are also two sketches in panels, one depicting an alleyway seen from a train car and the other depicting several cardboard boxes in an area under the stairs.

watching god games "with extra gods" videos and it really really really is so obvious how little creators in the fandom gaf about who these gods are and what they represent. it's really cool to see people make things always but i just don't understand why people like things sometimes.
