Two tragedies back to back really speaks volumes for how much congress has failed us over the years. I wish Charlie Kirks family and the victims and families of those in at the Evergreen High School my dearest condolences—but just as important, I also offer action for prevention.

My post on X about the shootings of Charlie Kirk and those at Evergreen High School in Colorado. It reads as follows:

💭🙏 Thoughts and prayers are a moral failure when followed by legislative cowardice

What happened today with the Evergreen school in Colorado and Charlie Kirk was tragic.

This isn't normal!

The role of our president and congress isn't to offer condolences, it's to pass laws to prevent these tragedies from continuing. The ONLY reason we continue having these shootings is because we are allowing it to happen—

Because we have a bunch of representatives who continue doing nothing to address it. Thoughts and prayers for the Minneapolis Catholic School, for Uvalde, for Oxford...

How about some damn action? You have a 1st Amendment right and should be able to use it without becoming a target. Our kids deserve better than empty thoughts and prayers that don't solve anything. Our politicians have offered us nothing as things get worse.

This isn't complicated, it's a choice. As a gun owner, I know we can respect the 2nd Amendment and have:

✅ Red flag laws
✅ Universal background checks
✅ Real investment in mental health

The time for excuses is over. The time for action is now!

Thats crazy! Anyway have this very simple explanation about how #Trump is killing manufacturing, and jobs in general, due to his #tariffs and make sure you follow me for more political shenanigans 😎

Hi 👋 I'm manufacturer ⚙️ and I can explain in simple terms.

Boss gets call from customer for 10 parts. Says he'll call back with quote. Boss calls metal plate company. 10 parts worth of material USED to cost 20k, but now costs 25k because tariffs—and no, we in 🇺🇸 don't have the infrastructure to just ramp up our own production so we HAVE to import a good portion of it (roughly 25% of steel and almost 100% of rare earths as examples), meaning we pay more to our government to bring in materials for our jobs (kindof like a tax, a Trump tariff tax).

Boss HAS to quote higher now, and customer sits on it because they have to come up with more money before we can start anything. Less work flow = less work = less people needed = layoffs because we artificially said we MUST pay more for the same things. It doesn't make jobs it just hurts us for no reason.
