What you’re saying is what most believe, so why are the rich getting richer, the working class getting poorer and governments have no money? It’s unsustainable, something has to change and taxing earnings isn’t the solution.

Not true. Until people get paid in advance of the hours they work it’s no less risk. If investing in a company is risky why isn’t working for a company the same risk?

People can get sacked at any second, how is that guaranteed? Obviously investing has risk, so does working on a construction site. Not sure you have thought this through? You’re saying investing in apple comes with the same risk as leaving home for 10 hours a day?

So companies shouldn’t pay tax on profits then? And I did say they get tax back on drops on the unrealised earnings. Unless all investors are losers the government still wins.

It’s still $100,000 earned. There are people getting $1,000,000 a day richer on investments but it’s apparently not appropriate to tax unearned wealth. I don’t even care if they get tax back if unearned and unrealised wealth drops. Taxing money earned more than money unearned is insane.
