For under £20 you can add a lot more game to an already brilliant game, and I thoroughly recommend this.

Go check it out at Kienda, and if it's your first time, stick /polyhedroncollider at the end of the URL to bag yourself a little discount too!
Ahoy: Fang & Fortune from @leder.games is an absolute steal from our show sponsor @kienda_UK right now.

Ahoy is a brilliant, fun, exciting asymmetric game of dice placement and pirates. This expansion provides some replacement factions for the smugglers, and the Leviathan is just so much fun!

💼We then engage in a little two-player espionage in Classified Information.

🐯Finally, we provoke all-out chaos in the Elemental anthropomorphic fast-paced card battle game: Prowl: Clans & Cunning

👑First; Leaders (@hachettebguk.bsky.social), literally hot off the press from @tabletopscot).

🌳Then we get our hands dirty with Earth, the card-driven tableau builder where ecosystems bloom and combos flourish.
In Episode 174 of the Polyhedron Collider Cast, the boys dig into some very different tabletop experiences—from lush engine-building to sneaky strategy and top-secret dossiers.

There is some great, low-conflict player interaction, but the game can also be played as a co-op and as a solo game.

The art is stunning (even in the pre-production copy we played) and the finished version will feature a pioneering “gripping” tiles that don’t slip and budge on the player board.
This is a tile drafting game, where the T-tiles will be placed to attempt to build a floating city. You’ll be trying to colour-match sections, construct buildings & trigger bonuses/abilities, while also trying to enclose fish, rescue survivors, and not to mention the community & round objectives.
Kalypso from InsideUpGames is finally live on #Kickstarter!

This game was awarded our inaugural Bankruptcy Award during the @ukge.bsky.social this year – in other words, the game we’re going all in on when it comes to Kickstarter. And, well, today’s the day!

We chat with Dan about the origins of CoraQues, from a lockdown project to a full-blown published success, and what it’s like designing games with kids. Along the way, we discuss the challenges of playing games with your kids, what works, what doesn't, and how to deal with a bad loser.
In this special Ramshackle episode, Sid and Rory are joined by none other than Dan Hughes—co-designer of CoraQuest (with his daughter, Cora), Dice Tower regular, and co-host of Sporadically Board.
In Episode 172 of the Polyhedron Collider Cast, the lads return fresh from PeachCon, and discuss Altay, Ponzi Scheme, Gwent, Compile and Burnt Moon!

Today Sid has been rubbing shoulders, hobnobbing, and living his best life at the Edinburgh Fringe with some Call of Cthulhu Live fom @chaosium.bsky.social

Tune into the next episode of the Polyhedron Collider Podcast to hear all about it, be warned, he will no doubt mention his "frillies"
This game is not for the faint of heart, to get the most from it, you need to go in ready for war. There is turmoil, there is angst, there are vendettas, there are risks and lucky rolls, not to mention super-stupid-powerful monsters and heroes.
Most importantly, though, this game is brilliant.
This game is so much fun. It is exciting and dynamic; it can swing from winning to losing in a turn. It is brutal, fun, but it's more than just Dudes on a Map Ameritrash dice chukker, there’s an open auction for all the actions you can take…now doesn’t that sound cool?
From refined bidding on gods to smarter titan rules and smoother monster triggers—Cyclades: Legendary Edition from Studio H Games (@and provided by @hachettbguk.bsky.social) tightens the screws while delivering still-satisfyingly brutal gameplay.
Jackpot: Set the Reel from @drandagames.bsky.social
Is it a deck builder, a tableau builder, or an engineer builder, perhaps? Maybe a hand management game…Yes to all of the above…kind of. Manipulate your cards (in one way or another) to set the reel in this slot machine/one-armed bandit game.
For us, this game was probably too light to return to the table without a newbie joining us, but it’s a game that I think gateway gamers will probably enjoy.

We discuss the game in full in episode 171 of the podcast; find a link in the bio to listen on your podcast platform of choice.
With tiles being drafted from player bags that make their way around the table, and simultaneous play, Fathom is also a very quick game.

Although this is quite rules-light, scoring opportunities can be quite complex to optimise, so not great for smaller gamers.
Fathom by @paperfortgames.bsky.social is a serene dive into tile laying and ocean exploration. This gateway game has a low rules overhead and a nice interface to help first-time gamers track key turn and their personal actions.

This is more than just Dudes on a Map Ameritrash dice chukker, there’s an open auction for all the actions you can take - which I guess makes it a Euro-Powered-Ameritrash game…now doesn’t that sound cool?
