Adirondack Tree Experts will remove a large tree in the 7200 block of Spruce Avenue on December 22. They will start around 7-7:30 am and finish by 3 pm. Their crane will be set up in the roadway blocking the road from 7209 and 7215. They will post no parking signs and put out the signage as well.

The Takoma Park Police Department and Fire Department are on scene for a trash truck fire. Carroll Avenue is closed between Tulip Avenue and Westmoreland Avenue due to debris in the roadway.
