New policies by Game Freak

- No more insert songs in games (TPC offered to do one for Legends: Z-A like the one by Ed Sheeran for S/V but GF rejected it)
- No special TCG cards based on games
- No external artists making promotional artwork, must come from Game Freak.

In the first 10 months of release, the Pokémon Scarlet/Violet DLC sold 6.15 million downloads, so 25% of the players bought the DLC.

Pokémon Scarlet/Violet DLC development ended up going way over budget, costing as much as the entire Legends: Arceus development.

"Going forward, we will keep the DLC at an appropriate scale commensurate with the revenue, and focus on achieving low costs".

Each Pokémon model has a different height and width, this will help generate realism in the animations. With this method, the character automatically adapts to the Pokémon size.

This is part of their new engine for Gen 10 and Nintendo Switch 2.

➡️ When developing the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet DLC, a bug occurred that affected development, due to DLC not being planned from the beginning.

So from now on Game Freak mandated that all future games will be programmed assuming DLC will be made.
