80s cyberspace futurism abounds in this ad for the Sharp X1.

This was a series of early to late-ish 80s computers with some interesting features. One of them was the ability to receive a TV signal via a tuner in its RGB monitor and superimpose another running program/game over it.

A magazine/brochure ad for Sharp X1 computers, in this case, showcasing the red and white models. Photographs of the computers and base unit are superimposed (appropriately) over a cyberspace grid and glowy wireframe city.

Last week I had four or five people ask for repair/troubleshooting that ended up NMVe deaths. Various brands, mix of desktop and laptops.

Most were Samsung NMVe. Not sure if it's bad luck or if those things are cursed. 😭
So traumatized I ask if they're using an NMVe so I can start there

I swear i grabbed the DDR4 version of this motherboard, but i apparently grabbed the DDR5, and I'm dyslexic so rip 😭

I'm at least going out tomorrow morning so I can see if I can exchange it for the DDR4. Just blown because my entire computer is in pieces on my bedroom floor lmfao

Honest to god, 2TB feels so excessive for a Windows partition but it was the smallest size they had?? And I'd rather kill myself than own or purchase a NVMe drive. Dead ass traumatized by the amount of people who've brought me their computers just to have dead NMVe's. Especially Samsungs. 🤢
