Itβs really not black and white; Netflix, like many corporations, has a more complex reputation. For instance, they gave us Sense8, critically acclaimed and widely viewed as one of the best queer shows ever produced, only to cancel it. Clearly we (the fans) are still upset lol πͺ

They basically uphold the scariest implication: that if *anyone (even U.S. citizens) is sent out of the country into the jurisdiction of another sovereign state, the courts are powerless and there is no recourse.

Very interesting that they create this limitation essentially saying the court cannot require he be brought back to the U.S. as that would impede on the Executiveβs exclusive authority over foreign relations.

Among the material devastation to everyday people, Senate Dems have now blown a hole in their ability to work with the House.

This sounds like a great strategy in theory for anyone privileged enough to not be affected. But lots of people are going to be harmed. I hate when Dem operatives and talking heads speak from their comfortable positions as if this is all some game to win when peopleβs lives are at stake.

The University of HawaiΚ»i is cutting diversity programs to comply with Trump executive orders. The State is completely unprepared for Trump inevitably going after Hawaiian home lands and OHA, among many other programs and entities for marginalized communities. We need a plan.
