Right on. I've actually never fished for trout in a river or creek. I pretty much exclusively use kastmaster spinners or live bait in shallow creeks, but I've always fished for bass and panfish in the shallower waters. I've only ever encountered trout in alpine lakes.

man, i feel so awful around family gatherings bc it's everyone against me, and i try so hard to not get into politics, but it is so hard to hear ignorance about race and economics. that stuff hurts my feelings, and, the policies they want actively hurt me. so it's assault from 2 sides in a sense

i used to experiment with corn bread and pancakes a lot, trying to get ratios right for powder/soda, etc. recently, i started thinking about those experiments again, but i couldn't remember exactly what my 2-3 yrs of expermenting left me thinking. it's been a while, but your post got me thinking 1/
