![IN ORDER TO EXPLAIN ABOUT THE SHUTDOWN, HERE THEY ARE:
On 1 October 2021 at 01:00 Manila time, fourteen TV channels (Disney Channel (yes, our beloved channel as we know it), Disney Junior, FOX Movies, FOX Family Movies, FOX Action Movies, FOX Channel, FOX Life, FX, FOX Crime, Nat Geo People, Channel [V], and three FOX Sports channels) and STAR Chinese Movies Legend have all ceased broadcasting in Southeast Asia ENTIRELY in ONE SINGLE DAY for the first time since Disney XD got shut down 9 months ago. This massive shutdown came from a decision from Disney Networks Group APAC in order to fully focus on Disney+/Hotstar.
TWO YEARS LATER, five remaining TV channels (BabyTV, STAR Chinese Channel, STAR Chinese Movies, Nat Geo Channel, and Nat Geo Wild) had also pulled out from broadcast in the same region for the same reason, marking the end of the conglomerate's pay-TV industry in Southeast Asia.
