As an additional thing, there just might be some parts of the process that you don't like being watched on and it's completely normal. I really don't like being watched when I sketch out and write dialogue for my comics as an example! With fiddling you'll find something you're comfortable with!

If everyone's practicing/learning at the same time that would take the pressure off of everyone I think! You would just have to lay down the boundary against critique unless asked and set the tone right away, but it's a type of stream I know you could pull off great! Art is really Just Chatting+!

I give this advice to everyone starting out - starting off making jokes/memes for friends is an excellent way to start!

For streams though you could turn it into a community art practice night where everyone can post their work in the discord afterwards!

Present day bird holds her phone out a bit before putting it down.

Flashbacks to more time in the hospital: her partner feeding her chips, laying down and listening to yelling from the patient next to her, looking over papers to sign as her partner helps preparing to leave, and finally looking out the car window from the passenger seat.

"Oh ok! And you're alright now? Are you feeling alright?"

"Yeah! My partner went with me too. She took good care of me."

Flashback: The bird is looking solemnly at her phone. Her partner, a red cardinal, has her arm wrapped around them looking forward and focused.

"Oh that's great honey! You know, I had a transfusion a few years back myself."

"Yeah. . . I remember. I rushed over to see you in the hospital."

Flashback: The bird is now checked in and in an ER bed hooked up to a monitoring machine. She hugs a pillow tightly. Her partner sits at the foot of the bed, watching them sadly.

"Oh that's right. I remember!"

"I guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, huh? It was weird though, when they finally got started. The blood they used, it's refrigerated right? I could feel the thick cold slowly going through my heart and into the rest of me. And looking at the small machine slowly infusing it inside? It was weird to see that blood and know it was going to be apart of me."

Flashback: Now laying down and the process started, the bird looks up at a part of the transfusion machine - a clear cylinder filled with blood. A tube connects her and the machine (IV not depicted).

"But then I also thought about Grandma and how cold and weak she must have felt connected to that giant dialysis machine. How scary it must've been seeing that much of yourself outside your own body. Being pushed and filtered by machinary-"

"Oops, sorry dear! I'm getting another phone call. I have to head in to work here in a minute too."

"Oh, uh, sorry. That's ok! I hope work goes well!"

The bird, an anthro crow bundled up in a blanket, silently stares at her phone as it rings.

She eventually answers.

". . . Hi Mom."

"Hi Honey! Sorry I missed your call earlier."

"It's ok, and just so you know i'm fine now and at home! But. . . I called to let you know I went to the ER recently."

"Oh honey! What happened?"

"Oh, just some labs came in. My numbers were looking low and I needed a transfusion, and that's where I could get one. So I went!"

Flashback: The bird is holding her phone flat and at a distance, other hand to her face. She is very visibly stressed and afraid, tears in her eyes.
