"So.. What if Hollow Knight Silksong was an RPG game ?"

This was a question I asked myself a little while ago and then.. I figured why not make a mock up for it? Took me a while to do, but I'm very proud of how it turned it!

Did I miss #PortfolioDay?

I'm Pixel Cell, still relatively new to this space and learning as I go!
I dabble in different styles, but have a love for isometric which is where I usually focus on.
Potentially looking for Collabs and maybe even Commissions in the future!

(I hope I did this right..)

Thank you so much! I've never actually played that game.. As for a history.. It could well be that this used to be the basement of a banished surgeon, performing dark deeds in the basement.. Or it could be a place where lives are saved, when they can't get to the main hospitals!

Whenever I use a reference, especially a pixel art one, I'll always change something, either in the shape, or the colours, or the details, so I cam make it my own.
As for a style.. I've been doing this nearly a year now and I don't think I have one either 🤭 So don't worry, it'll come ^^

For myself, I started with tutorials of course, like I'm sure everyone else did. After that I just.. Went for it. Trial and error, practice and learning new things along the way. Never be afraid to use references, that's what they're for. It helps I'm a gamer and I love the pixel art aesthetic 🤭
