Disco Linehan, Disco Rowling, collect the set.
Currently have a glut of Katy apples. Still a couple of hundred left on the tree, which is barely 6'. Filled two wheelie bins with the ones the codling moths took as well. Insanely good apples straight off the tree - you have to hold them bite-side up to stop the juice from dripping out.
Quite an effective way to defeat food delivery services if you don't want to be doing that stuff..
Sorry. Realised I sound like ChatGPT.
Currently hate-playing Blue Prince trying to complete all of it. Me in three years will somehow only remember the scattered moments of success, and will want to play it again.
Very sweet when properly ripe. Some are just sweet, with not much else going for them; the better kinds are very rich, with elements of jam, honey, and red wine. They pair well with savoury things - salads, cheeses, charcuterie, and so on, and can be used in cakes and puddings.
Heat pumps are expensive and don't burn well.
They can't be appeased because, in many cases, they want is the remembered world of their childhood, along with a young body to live in. Hear me out - the pods from the Matrix might be a viable option.
They could just make it part of a series of "things no normal person would discuss even with their most boring relative". Might need a snappier title though.

In a somewhat similar vein (but not answering your question), The Hair Bear Bunch was based on the sitcom Hogan's Heroes, which was based on the Billy Wilder film Stalag17, which was an adaptation of a Broadway play, which was based on real experiences in a prisoner-of-war camp in Austria.
I'm as prognosis as anyone, but that's terrible.
I don't think there's a distinctly British conservatism any more. It's become a global/American project, and the party just repackages those ideas for a domestic audience. Like the British fascists of the 30s, who also looked pretty deranged to most normal people.
How's he finding it? My youngest is looking to do politics A-level next year.
I suspect becoming Home Secretary just allows preexisting authoritarian instincts to come to the fore.
First they came for the orange cellophane... which I just found out they stopped using in 1983.
No great love for Blair, but he did at least understand that basic point.
Taking it the other way round: a percentage of people are bigots, or hold bigoted views. Nobody can really can dispute that. So who do people think they vote for?
What if all the liberals were hoovered into Heaven instead. What larks.
I went to a convent primary school. Hymns every day, Catholic mass once a week, plus every feastday and parishoner's funeral. You learned to sing the funny words just loud enough to reach your friends but not Sister Hildegard.
Boring hot salad.
Now at the age where you "have a fall".
"And a glass of... cabinets? over yon?"
