I actually have plenty of things I'd change about the games! but it's a lot of completely unpopular stuff like "remove most held items+abilities and reduce the move pool by at least 50%", "every game contains only its regional dex" and "tera is the best gimmick and should be the only one to stay"

I dunno just imagine liking something and every time you spot someone with a tshirt and ask about it, the other person pulls out their prewritten 20min video essay on its crimes. It's exhausting.

I feel like I have to apologize for being uncritical or justify myself every time I meet someone new. I literally just always have fun and like most designs!! I've always been fine!! The constant stream of negativity is just such a downer that I just don't interact with the community anymore.

Pokemon is one of the few things I love in an uncomplicated way, and every new major entry in the series brings me just as much joy as the previous, give or take a little. I wish I could talk to other Pokemon fans anymore. The world is shitty enough I'm sick of hearing why you think it sucks now.

I'm just gonna have to flat disagree. I don't think it wants to be a phrase that's representing everyone. It's saying "furry has freaks, & we will support them" If you feel like the phrase is excluding you, or represents a pet peeve you have with the community, that might just be a you problem.

I apologize for misinterpreting you a bit... But I'm confused. What exactly are people doing to "not make space" for anyone else? The "freaks" are the ones being oppressed, so the freaks get top billing in a slogan. We don't need to "all lives matter" it. No one is saying the sfw side doesn't matter

Just because some bar patrons spill beer on the floor doesn't mean we can justify being inconsiderate to everyone who's there to drink. As a sfw artist i do not feel "shoved to the side" and never have. If you can't stomach seeing nsfw at ALL then it's up to you to form your own -exclusive- spaces

I think posts like this are addressing larger systems, not individuals or TOS or "claiming" the space. Your interpretation feels off-topic. Sure, people should tag (its in the rules iirc?) but on the other hand, does "all-inclusive" really "exclude" you just because you don't like some of the "all"?

Is there discussion to be had about creating safe spaces for all participants? Do some people act nasty where they shouldn't? Sure, every large group is gonna have problems like this. But it should be obvious why the cute, friendly content isn't exactly the center of calls to action right now.

And that's not even mentioning literally everything that's going on right now with web censorship and payment processor silencing. NSFW artists are BY LAW being pushed out of online spaces and their livelihood. Of course they're the center of conversations about the human right of expression.

Hrm... I understand feeling alienated when the conversation is often turned towards the parts you don't relate to, but the reality is that aside from the general misunderstanding that furries get, the sfw side of furries are not as often -actively in danger- like the other side is.

i don't think it's exclusionary. everyone can keep furry freaky by not pushing out the "freaky" ones. it's okay not to be freaky yourself.
