people that create (unconventional) art will never bow to fed people slop. we dont want them to just consume it like fast food. we want nurish them and broaden their horizons even if it is just a silly art of a blorbo or oc.

I'm rly glad you make both points here because it's exactly it, videogames don't encourage people to be violent and that's as true as for example the movie jaws tarnishing the reputation of sharks and adding to their endangerment. I think media framing around art is another key factor here.
