An excerpt from "kept track of our bygone days":

Eijirou looked at Katsuki and saw a boy, and in turn, Katsuki cut his bleeding heart out with shaky hands and offered it up to him on a golden platter.

(He doesn't know how to love otherwise. Bakugou Katsuki never does anything in halves.)

Love is selfish. Love demands and takes, and love only knows how to want with yawning entirety and nothing less. But love is also Eijirou seeing a boy instead of a spitfire villain. Love is Eijirou stretching his hand out for Katsuki to grasp. Love is Eijirou sharing a bag of snacks with Katsuki, when the moon comes out. Love is Eijirou smiling at him, and telling him he's worth it.

Katsuki peeks over at Eijirou and—oh. Oh.

There it is again: that look that Katsuki has built memorials for in his memory palace. The one where the curve of his lips is crooked and just as sweet as the sticky juice of the ramune ice pop and his gaze is all crinkled at the corners of his eyes. The one that sings with an affection someone can only have after three years of intimacy past friendship and less than lovers.

The one that tells Katsuki that it’s all there, that it’s never been in his head, and he could have it if only he asked.

An excerpt from "sweet on you":

He pauses, takes the moment to lick his lips and let the night air embolden him.

"Eijirou," he continues, wanting to scream at the way Kirishima--Eijirou's eyes widen and his pupils blow wide.

"Eijirou, you know I'm sweet on you," Katsuki says, and they both feel the way his heart speeds up. It still thumps steady, even at the hurried pace. He lets out a breath that's more affection than air at the way Eijirou has just barely pressed his fingertips harder into the cotton of his shirt.

Katsuki leans down, an inch closer and an eternity away. "Are you sweet on me?"

But he was nonetheless absolutely enraged at the sudden heatwave taking over the dorms, humid air stifling every last nook and cranny.

That, and regardless of any interaction he’d had with any sort of feverish temperature before, he was wholly unprepared for the vitalization that was Kirishima Eijirou bathed in warmth.

Bakugou lets out a soft murmur - low in his throat, barely a sound at all. Sleep clings to him, making his eyes heavy and hard to open. He gives up halfway through trying. But he doesn't have to say anything, because a hand presses firm to the back of his neck. The touch is warm. Familiar. It pulls away, only to return before Bakugou can protest - an arm wrapping around his back, the other underneath his knees. He is settled against... someone's chest, pulled close, his head lulling until he can hear the steady thump, thump, thump under his ear.

There's only one person that it could be.

"K'shima?"
