Yes agree. Plus those of us with progressive ideas ended up just talking to ourselves. The algorithms refused to let us see each other in the end to share sensible ideas. I only saw hateful people with hateful tweets and I was invisible to my friends. It became pointless.

It was the way he said he didn’t know if they were witches like there is some debate as to whether that’s an actual legal thing like pickpocketing or burglary or something. It was an odd way to frame it 🤷🏼‍♀️ these were people murdered by the state for no crime at all except not fitting in

One of the LBC presenters said on the subject of witch hunts something like he wasn’t sure if the women ‘were actually witches or not’ but asked ‘should they be pardoned’ . I just thought it was all framed in a very odd way. These were women persecuted because they didn’t follow society’s norms. 🤷🏼‍♀️

My own view is that we should join the Euro. But it's a complex issue – and some are intrumentalising it to sow doubt about us ever rejoining. The simple point is: members aren't forced to join the Euro, as it would be counterproductive. Article 140 states it needs to be a SUSTAINABLE convergeance.

As far as "pursuing the aims of monetary union" goes, that's defined in TFEU Art. 140. It calls for checks every two years to see if a member is ready (and willing) to join the Euro. Importantly, the new member and the Euro-group must come to joint decisions. No one is "forced" to join the Euro!
