The Federal Transit Administration announced today that Pierce Transit will receive grant funding to purchase seven new Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) buses to replace aging buses that have reached the end of their useful life.

The time has come to Revive I-5. NB I-5 in Seattle between I-90 & NE 45th St will CLOSE starting at 11:59p on Friday, July 18, through 5a Monday, July 21.
The express lanes will be NB ALL WEEKEND & beyond. WB I-90 exit to NB I-5 will close.

It's almost here - weekend-long lane reductions on NB I-5 near the Ship Canal Bridge.
NB I-5 reduced to two lanes starting about 9:30 tonight until 5am Monday, express lanes NB only all weekend.
Also, 2-hour full NB mainline closure near SR 520 starts between 12:01-1am Saturday.

It's graduation season at the Tacoma Dome! This means that for the month of June, Pierce Transit Route 42 and @sound-transit.bsky.social Route 574 may be on a detour at Tacoma Dome Station. Watch for signage and follow directions from traffic control.
