A monster taming game that allows switching between real-time and turn-based combat.
Embark on a mission to collect DNA from mysterious creatures called Pictids for scientific research back on your home planet.
use haru's down special to swap your neutral special from water to fire to electric to light. light types are only strong to dark and ghost, so having other elemental attacks can be useful in battle.

this ghost-pictid is a 'dhoul'. ghost types are strong to dark types but weak to light types.
this move is 'scary face', and if an enemy is close by, they will be stunned.

some more level art. there will be various biomes (plains, forests, swamps, deserts, tundras, etc.), day/night cycles, and weather patterns (sunny, rainy, windy, stormy, snowy). so you will have to explore the land thoroughly to find all the pictids!

this is a smoog, a fire-type pictid. fire types are effective against plant, bug, wood, metal, and ice types.

as with most monster-taming games, you can inflict status effects on your opponent with certain moves and abilities. there are also special effects for super effective damage!

some pictids have a standard roll animation. others draw on their element and have a unique roll animation!

some pictids can learn moves from another element. this is a smoog, a fire-type that can learn thunder, an electric-type move. it can help smoog deal with water-types, but as a payoff, the move can paralyse the user.
