another week of just plain TORTURE and i mean that so so literally. this is genuinely devastating, the entire situation is just so.. hopeless. the protagonists are always supposed to win, yet why is it so impossible for aerik and miesa? their helplessness is VERY well captured

the last time i felt an ending was entirely satisfactory with everything being properly finished was The First Night With The Duke and that was a looong time ago 😭 it's nice to see another title taking it's time to wrap up after the main events 😌

series finale is out now!! this has to be one of the most satisfying endings, with all remaining plot points being given sufficient time to flesh out without being dragged on, and we still have side stories for anything left!! not my fav, but overall a good and unique read ♥️
