This late in the transfer window, “if” we sign any players they will be more from the leftovers bucket than the main menu. I’m envious of how clubs with fewer years in the PL than us, show how effective they are at getting deals done. We are truly appalling

Back home and reflecting on the game. Started well, the old Palace almost, but Mateta had to do better with his chance. Mistakes cost us, very open for the second goal, 💩ref. A crumb of a highlight - Chadi Riad. Uche should start over Mateta. We need to start winning games, soon.

I hope that we have a full reset in the summer including all aspects of player acquisition. We are a selling club, so at least make us good at acquiring young, hungry talent and using our Academy stars. What Sunderland achieved in the summer was very impressive & well done to them
