For clarification I oppose ID cards in the UK. I have a Driving license and a passport to prove who I am Employers already get NI numbers when they enroll staff or should do. This is a Trojan horse. @emmahardymp.bsky.social

“Now think”! Always thought! Argument has been rehearsed over and over, the east west corridor across the North would have produced better vfm. This Frankenstein HS2 is a disaster, it will not relieve pressure on the network only add to it. Never met the white book criterion.

£3m in the scale of things is erroneous and arbitrary. Some farms in the south are worth far more than those in the north or Scotland so the advalorem for the treasury is distorted and unfair. Review needed to ensure parity throughout the country.

There is a big issue of comparing apples against pears in this debate. Despite the statistical rhetoric many small farmers have been caught up in an attempt to cleave sums (and rightly so) from wealthy investors but at what cost to the small farmer? Urgent review needed for fairness.
